Video downloader

Summary

Use this tool to download videos from YouTube, Vimeo and other platforms. This tool itself does not download or decode videos; it is a graphical interface for yt-dlp , FFmpeg , Deno and PhantomJS. It does not bypass DRM or protected content. Please note that downloading a video may not be legal in your country.

Usage

You can download a complete playlist using a playlist URL. It is also possible to download only the audio portion of a video. Use the options to customize the video and audio output formats or to enable subtitles. To play a video with subtitles, use VLC or another player that supports a separate subtitles file. The ‘Advanced options’ allow you to use all available yt-dlp options . For example, this can be used to specify authentication options .

Installation

If necessary, you will be prompted to install the required .NET Desktop Runtime when you launch the app. After a new release Windows may display a warning. If you see the message "Microsoft Defender SmartScreen prevented an unrecognized app from starting." you can click "More info" and then click "Run anyway".
