Video downloader

Summary

Use this tool to easily download videos from YouTube, Vimeo and other platforms. This tool does not contain any code to download or decode videos, it is simply a user interface for the popular yt-dlp , FFmpeg and PhantomJS projects. Please note that downloading a video may not be legal.

Usage

You can download a complete playlist by using a playlist URL. It is also possible to download only the audio portion of a video. Use the options to customize the video and audio output formats or enable subtitles. Password-protected videos are also supported. To play a video with subtitles, use VLC or another player that supports a separate subtitles file.

Installation

If necessary, you will be prompted to install the required .NET Desktop Runtime when you launch the app. In the first week after a new release Windows may display a warning. If you see the message "Microsoft Defender SmartScreen prevented an unrecognized app from starting." you can click "More info" and then click "Run anyway".
